E BON VERMOUTH

Two shades of Turinese tradition.

Quintessence from Turin

REDISCOVER THE Vermouth Hour with E Bon

“E Bon!” in Piedmontese dialect expresses the conclusion of a thought, as if to say “that’s that”or “enough said”. But what really lies behind the name?
The two hands on the label draw our attention to the bottle. An invitation to look through the glass, to the heart, the essence of what’s inside. “E Bon“ is just that, quintessentially from Turin: at first reserved, a peek through parted fingers like the label on the bottle. But once tasted reveals its strength of character.

Curious to try it? Just taste and you’ll say “E bon! That’s exactly what I needed!”. E Bon invites you to look back to the origins of the“Vermouth Hour’: in late nineteenth century Turin, it was traditional to meet friends and enjoy a pre-dinner glass of vermouth perhaps with a snack of buttered bread and achovies, olives and salami or even sweet pastries. This was an important time for encounters, a ritual where new acquaintances were made and business was concluded , where the day’s events were discussed and the latest gossip swapped. And it was the time that young ladies were presented to society, where they learnt the arts of courtship Not really so different from the aperatif of today. It was a tradition that survived riots and wars up until 1915, and which today E Bon is set to revive and promote outside Piedmont.
